The catalog is an ongoing effort to document all books and materials donated to the OWS People’s Library. Because there are no sign-out procedures (and of course no late fees), the catalog has never accurately represented our current holdings, and this is even more true since most of the collection was thrown out or destroyed by the NYPD in the November 15 raid on Liberty Plaza. The titles recorded in the catalog serve as a record of many of the ideas contributed to the library and the movement.
